@ holms - I asked that question on MC Facebook page about the PWT graphic and they said, "Guesstimate: 12" across". I have a 2012 X2 so I might make mine around 10" across. 12" might be too big.

probably too small at 12 inches... it looks bigger - it almost looks a third of the half beam width in the picture... make sure you use an edge seal pen to make sure it doesn't peel up in one season... that decal will take a lot of pounding there...

Width at top 11 1/2" (widest)
Width of most of the shield 11"
Height at center 12"'(tallest)
Boat is an X-2
This should get you in the ball park. The size I cut mine was mainly determined by the size of the vinyl I had. I didn't have my boat around so I guessed at what would look right.
