Maristar 225 Wrap/Decals/Opinions?

Just picked this 96 225 up this week from a local guy here in town. He had the tower installed some years back and had the vinyl done at the end of the 2013 season. Right off the bat I'm not a huge fan of the color scheme. It obviously wasn't a deal breaker for me, and maybe a good clean and wax with some fresh factory decals would chance my mind.

On the other hand I thought about having a wrap done, to follow the factory design, but maybe like black to gray with a thin red line in the middle that flows into the outline of the Mastercraft decal. I dunno just tossing some thoughts around. What do yall think?

Here's some pics of the boat...

Lets say I don't wrap and just go back with factory decals... who or where is a good place to get a factory decal kit? Google doesn't present much when I search for 1996 Maristar decal kit

I toyed around with it for a while and ended up just doing mastercraft on the side hull and transom with some shields on the back corners... I am not crazy about my shields. I did also think about putting 225 back there instead, dropping the maristar name. That may look good there in the same font and a little larger as the one on yours.

And I agree with this as well.... you can search this website for the words dropbox and decals. There are some files that you can use to have a decal guy print them up for you... but there are some rules, MC is trademarked.

Looks good. I like the tower.
No wrap. Add Mastercraft to the side.
After that has been done for a week or three, I'd consider removing the Maristar 225 vrs stickers.

I'd pull the Maristar 225 and just put Mastercraft on the side. If you just want to do some domed letters you can find places to order that off the Internet. If you want a vinyl wrap or some custom vinyl stickers I'd look for a local vehicle wrap shop.

I'm curious about that bimini situation. Looks like there's two? Do they zip together or something?

The boat looks great, congratulations! We struggled with what to put on ours as well and ended up doing the drip molded decals on the sides and transom. It really updated the boat and made it look newer than a 1994 to me.

Here is a look at my boat. I think that adding the MasterCraft decal on the side would change the look of the boat a lot. Maybe a good buffing too will help bring out the shine again.
