1994 Exhaust Flaps...

Does anyone reproduce exhaust flaps for '94-97 Prostars? As I clean up this boat there is no way I can leave the exhaust looking like this!

Got mine from my dealer a few years back, original equipment. Funny story, i didnt even know there was such a thing as exhaust flaps until i backed my boat in the water a little fast one time and filled my heads with water. The starter wouldnt even turn over the engine it was so full. Took the heads off only to find water in them... if i had known, i could have just pulled the plugs... long story short, i got me some flaps

Those don't look like the flaps I had on my 94.

I had these and they are available since I upgraded.

Ski-me, is the tape because they are cracked/split or is it just to add a little weight to help them close?

I was paranoid about mice getting in while it was in the garage for a few weeks....so I just put a little tape on to hold the flaps down. I hate mice and they are all over the barn area. Didn't want anything destroyed!
