Need prop advice for higher top end in 197

Wondering if anyone has advice on prop'ing my 197. Looking for higher top end for some barefooting so as not to over rev my MCX...,

Although the stock prop seems to be the 12.5x12 for the MCX with the 1:1 transmission, when I bought to the boat used, it had a 13.5x15 which will give me 42mph @ 4200 RPM.

Any thoughts??...

Thanks

Oj

If you are wide open and only pulling 4200 rpms the 13.5 x 15 prop is too tall for your mcx 1:1. Contact Eric @ O.J. and he will tell you what prop will give you the best barefoot top end while keeping the rpms under redline. I guarantee you he has a tried and true recommendation for your application. www.ojprops.com
