Time to change rear main seal.

I guess it is time to change the rear main seal on this 1993 maristar 351 indmar. From what I have read the steps are:

Pull the prop
Pull prop shaft
unbolt transmission
fix rear main seal

Does anyone have any good advice or ideas that has worked? Is one type of seal better than another? While I have it apart is there anything else that I should look at?

Thanks for the help. I will try to snap some pics of the process

I think Kyle did one and might have gotten away with just unbolting the trans and sliding it back far enough to get at the flex plate and rear seal.

"Heavy" beer is for wine drinkers that are too embarrassed to drink wine in front of their buddies. "Light" beer is a drinkin' man's beer!
