Removing front floor panel - '88 PS190

Anyone have an idea how to remove the front bilge area floor panel on this model. Obviously I will have to remove the pylon and apparently disconnect steering cable, vent hoses, etc? Will there still be enough room to remove considering observer seat base is connected to hull? Replacing boat carpet and would like to remove to do so.

Its a pain in the butt. I cut new board and i decided to make it 2 sections. that way its easier to remove the panel in the future. But no doubt about it, its not as easy as it should be. I dont see why youd have to remove the steering cable. Unless your board was cut different than my 90.
