This is what I ended up doing. 2012 sequoia with 7,000 miles. I used it today to tow, and I was beyond pleased. Being the highest horse power and torque vehicle I've had, it blew me away. Didn't even know the boat was back there. So far I'm happy we bought it. Thanks for all the insight. Without this thread, I wouldn't have any idea about the gear ratio. Thanks

It's a gas engine, high rpm = torque = annoying. I've driven them all, you want to pull and relax buy a diesel. If your like me and can't justify the cost, drive the snot out of your gas and it will survive. I run the same motor as you and have pulled with the 5.3l a lot. 5.7 Is better but it's not the real answer.

congrats! that is the same color as I had in a limited 4wd.

My 3.5 liter gas motor makes over 400 ft lbs @ 2500 rpm...'course it has 2 turbos.
