Cold Water

Though I realize I'm at risk of sounding like a candy @$$ I want to know what you guys consider cold water. We were out yesterday and due to our late spring and copious amounts of rain the water temp was 64. I had on a short sleeve wetsuit and it wasn't bad. The guys with me toughed it out on the first run but they were really cold. Can't wait to hear from the Canadians on this one.

If all the ice is gone, it's not cold anymore.

Waters only cold if you don't dress appropriately. I've been in sub 50 degree water with a drysuit and been completely comfortable. Guess I'd have to say I'm really not sure.

I'm cold at the get in anything less than 70. 65 isn't bad once you run a few passes and generate body heat. I'm a cold water weenie.

if it's not ice, it's perfect!!!!! my first run was with a shortsleeve wet and the water was at 54, so no problem there, except if a get naked in the few minutes after that!!!!

Been in 42 degrees with air temp of 80 in a shorty wetsuit. Recently was 60 degree water with 70 air temp. Its all relative.... Right??

If the water isn't frozen its warm enough!

We trunked it 2 weeks ago with water in the low 60's....

I have been out in a wetsuit in 47 degree water and the air temp was in the low 40's in mid November

I was skiing the day after ice out, in my "mostly" dry suit. Figure water temps of mid 30s and Air temps in the 70s, I was plenty warm until I was trying to get out of my boots, couldn't move my fingers.
