First time skiers

On what was most likely our last outing this summer, I had a group of newbies show up late in the day. The dreaded “T” word (tubing) had been mentioned but I talked them all into a try on the boom. I would have loved to get them behind the boat but it was getting late and they were exhausted. Maybe next spring we can work on their form. All of the time spent teaching them is worth it when you hear them say “I did it!”

Awesome! Taught a couple of folks to ski behind the boat this year, and plan to get a few more who were unsuccessful on the boom next season as well. Now they're on Craiglist looking for boats!

Tell 1 and 2 to bend their knees!

Great work. I taught 2 youngsters to ski, then had them and three others all up behind the boat the next day.

Also taught a nephew to deep up barefoot. He had been on a boom before, but never long line.
