Aux. Switch Help

Had the bright idea of removing my aux. switch so I could tie underdash LED lights into it on my 01 X-Star. Ended up with a handful of springs and parts. AFTER I order a new switch what's the best way to remove/replace the aux. switch? I gave up trying to put it back together. Especially since the other half of the case it snaps into is still in the dash. I assume I can order switch thru dealer?
Thanks for the help.
