JL 6w3v3 anybody using it?

I'm interested the the performance in a boat application. Having a 83' S&S space is quite limited but I could probably do something pretty cool with a few of these bad boys. Has anyone tried this woofer? How is it?

I want one of those under the rear seat in my truck.

Do you store your boat indoors? If not I wouldn't put this in your boat unless you were sure you could keep it dry.

The newest JL Audio W6 10 and 12s are outstanding. Super small enclosures. Exceptional excursion under control. Low deep bass extension and very linear across the entire bass bandwidth.
With a poly cone, rubber surround and cast frame in a sealed enclosure, what more could you hope for in a marine environment.

What size box for a 10? I am real limited on space since it will be going in a 1983 S&S

The new JL Audio 10W6 V3 requires a net internal displacement of 0.55 cu.ft. after the driver displacement, which is VERY small. More important is the outside/external displacement which is 1641 cubic inches, which is just barely smaller than a cubic foot if using 0.75" construction.
