Deck Plate / Access Hatch

Anyone install something like this in the rear floor for easy access and adjustments to the shaft log and packing? I am thinking about doing this, looking for any pictures, sizes used and brands.

Thanks,

Dave

Deck Plate

I've seen a circular deck plate install over the steering tube assembly for maintenance.

I thought long and hard about doing something like this or a vent under my rear seat to drain water after weekly washdown instead of gunking building up behind the sacks. Good idea!

I installed an access under the observer seat for getting to my bilge pump and am happy with the way it turned out.....but it is under the seat. I don't know if I would want one out in the open.
