when you guys say pressure washer. Do you seriously put that much water into your boat? Or do you remove the carpet and pressure wash on the driveway. Seems like a lot of water to put in the boat.

I do but I have a pressure regulator so I can lower the pressure to minimal.

However the pressure washer is kind of messy for over-spray. I prefer to manually scrub << spit >> and rinse with a water hose (even lower pressure), then I take an ice scraper and squeegee the water to the basement and let it drain. Then I put a 20" box fan in for overnight to dry it out.

I do not have the PAK snap-in carpet so I am constrained to washing the carpet in place.

After a few years of this annual ritual, I lay in new carpet... Cheap and easy enough....

Little green machine. Gets just about anywhere. Forget their soap and mix 1 tablespion chlorine dioxide and a little (maybe 3-4 tablespoons) high efficiency laundry soap into one container of cleaner. Works like a charm and doesn't discolor anything I've found yet.

Yep not a problem, with the bung out raise the front of the boat and work it to the rear, then when finished lower the front and rinse out. I pick a hot weekend, do it Saturday morning and it is nearly dry by Sunday arvo.
