Dockmate snubber dock line, anyone use them?

Just wondering if any of you guys use these? If so what length works or do not work? I'm thinking the longer lines would work best. These would not be used for my own dock but rather what ever dock we pulled up to such as state park docks, so the needed length would vary.

I have one that I have abused for probably 5 years, and it is great. Originally bought it to dock a jetski I had a while back, and now used it on the boat. I've used mine also to tow a tube off the platform a short distance as well. It's great, and floats.

I have a 4' one I think and I have it tied to a longer rope bc I have the bow and stern tied fore and aft instead of the port or stbd side of the boat, if that makes sense. It works great, but I need another for the front line as well.
