For Sale: Meticulous 1983 Stars and Stripes

This Mastercraft is ready to go! I purchased in 2006 as a second owner. This has the all fiberglass hull that changed in 1983. I have refurbished just about every square inch of this boat in 2007 and it is located in Denver, CO. Listed a $8,100 OBO

  • Interior - New Upholstery including rare rear seat, New carpet, New Stereo with iPod jack and satellite radio, Amp, and Kicker Speakers. New guages, Custom one piece Mahogany dash, new Perfect Pass Pro with magnet sensors, depth gauge.
  • Exterior - New decals, New rubrail, Wetsanded gelcoat to remove oxidization, original swim platform (needs alittle work), gelcoat does have some dings and stress cracks to be expected in a 20 year old boat.
  • Engine - This is where we splurged! New full roller 351 W block, powder coated red. Standard bore. Balanced and blueprinted. Speed Pro Hypereutectic Pistons. Edelbrock Aluminum RPM Heads. Edelbrock RPM intake. Crane Cams Energizer Rockers with studs. Crane Cam. Mallory YLU full electronic billet aluminum distributor, Holley 650 carb, Kodiak Marine Performance exhaust manifolds. All machine work completed by blue oval performance here in Denver. Paperwork included. At 5000 ft elevation we’re pushing about 330HP with a max RPM of ~5200. This thing is fast, I would be scarred to see how much power it would have at sea level. Great for barefooting!

Also included in the sale is a sky boom wakeboard pole, original trailer, travel cover, and miscellaneous extra parts (e.g. gaskets, hoses, carb jets, distributor adjustment kit, steering cable and column, impeller, extra speakers, extra prop, too much to list). This boat is completely turn-key and is ready to ski. Its been meticulously maintained for the last 6 years has 369 hours on new engine!

Nice boat! What'd you screw that amp into? Looks like it goes into the hull...

amp

NO, did not screw it into the hull. We mounted it the same way that the perfect pass is mounted. Marine grade plywood soaked with epoxy and then glassed it to the inside of the hull. Pre-drilled holes (before glassing it to the hull) into the plywood and screwed them into that.

Did you hear anything back, or presumably not interested?

Sounds like he is thinking that if he waits he will get the asking price. That will change as time goes by and no other offers come in. It's on EBay at the same price. I thought used prices were negotiable. All offers should at least get a response.
