edge sealer

put new graphics on the boat this winter. Need to apply edge sealer but keep hearing it looks like crap and shows badly. Is there a way to put it on without showing lines on the vinyl/gel? anyone use one of these edge seal pens?

The pen looks like a great idea. I used the 3m edge sealer and brushed it on. You can easily see it when you get up close-looks red/orange on my white hull. Now that I've run my decals for a couple of years I probable won't do it the next time unless I get a hold of one of the pens. The vinyl has held up well for the past 3 summers and I'm not sure if the edge sealer really made a difference or not.
