Does this look right?

Noticed on my 09 X star that the ballast intake screen sits on the trailer bunk. Not sure if there is any concern about damaging the inlet cover, but I thought these trailers were custom made for the boat. Clearly a coordination issue.

hmm yea... mine doesnt look like that, ballast screen is clear of the trailer.

i dont seem to remember that much space between the end of the bunk and the back of the boat though, i wonder if you have it loaded too far??

I was kind of thinking the same thing, but once the bow eye makes contact with the boat buddy, it cant go any further. If the boat was back any further, it wont hit the boat buddy.

It looks too far forward. Is there a way to slide the entire boat buddy/winch area back like 6"?

Is your boat angled on the trailer? Doesn't look like it.

Hmmm..... Did you buy this new? Talk to dealer about it?

It could be moved back but would require a lot of work by a quality welder.
