Acura drivers? or old Land Cruisers?

1) April 1st I changed jobs. For the last 8 years, I've been working for a large Toyota dealer selling wholesale parts. A few weeks ago I was offered, and decided to take, a parts manager position @ an Acura dealer. I have been in wholesale parts for the last 15 years, but this manager thing is new to me.

If any of you need anything for your Acura, let me know. I'd be glad to help.

2) While I was cleaning out my Toyota desk, I came across an old Toyota original parts catalog for FJ40, 40L,42L, 43, and 43L. I've seen pictures posted of some Land Cruiser toys owned by MC TT'ers. If any of you want this old catalog, send me your address info and I'll ship it to you. I'd hate to see it go to waste.

I love those vehicles. I almost bought a used one in 1981 as my first car.

The one above was my first car. I spotted it with grown up grass around it on the side of I-20 in front of an abandoned building. Tracked down the owner and bought it. Didn't look anything like that when I started

Have you been to Australia? The landcruiser lives on as pickup that they call a 'ute'. Most that I saw were flatbeds.

As a matter of fact, I spent 3 months studying abroad in Australia & New Zealand in college. Best weekend of the trip? Renting 3 land cruisers (including a 70 series diesel which is non-us) and taking the ferry over to Frasier Island (largest sand island in the world) to 4wheel, camp and explore. I've got some pictures around here somewhere...

I am a huge LC nut... to the point of having vintage FJ40 literature framed and on the wall in my office.

Edit: found a pic That's me in the green shirt driving the 70 series

Land Cruisers are awesome.

Very hard to find nice ones. People never let go of them.

Dang it. Wish I'd known. I need a cupholder for my 04 4runner.

Actually come to think of it, I need a new armrest cover for a 07 Acura TL. I put leather cleaner on it and it literally stripped the color out of it. Any help there?
