AZDave,

Do you have a picture of your boat?

The colour combination on my boat seems to be pretty common. I have seen a few of them on the site. It has a grey stripe with the magenta which I figured would be grey dawn, but as you say in my picture it really does look pretty grey.

Same as my avatar. Boat looks white, but is actually grey. Very light, white grey. Grey Dawn. Whatever that means. The contrast of your hull and the white gelcoat looks like mine did. I purchased the grey dawn from Spectrum and it was very close, but still not spot on due to the age of the boat.

My 94 205 was Mastercraft, 1994-1998, Stone,

I also thought it was Glacier White. But I ran my hull ID I found out it was stone.

There's the problem - spectrum spells colour wrong..

LOL,

Yeah yeah, and we say aboooot wrong too.............

If spectrum spelled it correctly we'd have polar bear white, igloo white, snow white, ice white..........I could go on all day.......

But I still wouldn't know what COLOR my boat was!!!!!!!

Color match is an ugly thing... the only way to really get the right color is with a spectrophotometer - paint stores use this type of device to match color. The other option is to do it yourself.

Just need to bump this thread up. I am really in a bind. There are a ton of these blue, magenta, grey, and "white" Prostars out there. This is a shout out to all of them!!!

Please anyone that has one of these boats if your willing to send me your Hull number via PM I would be very grateful.

I would like to reach out to Mastercraft with your numbers and see if they have any details on what gelcoat was used.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think my boat is a clone of yours or yours is a clone of mine, but I'm willing to try and help.

The blue seems different.

Let me know if I can help.

My boat is white.

Thanks Kyle,

I agree with you, It's a close match but I think your boat is a little bit lighter and brighter white.

After another conversation with Bill at Mastercraft, I am thinking that I will have to bite the bullet and try out another colour. He told me that they don't have any records on any boats that far back.

I think AZDave was onto something with the "Dawn Grey", so I guess I'll try going that route first.
