I am getting ready to pull the trigger on some bags for my 2005 x45. The guys at wakemakers are telling me to use these bags.

Wakemakers is absolutely correct. The FH 1100 will fit in the rear locker. And I recommend filling a bag in the board locker when surfing port side. A FH 400 will fit there. Move all your body ballast to the surf side.

If you don't want/ need both of the bow seat ones I'd be willing to split the cost of them with you for one of them. I'm going to order the 1100lb one next week. All of us will be riding port side so I wouldn't need to order 2.

Hmm, will it fit with the factory tank still in place?

Congratulations on being part of the long line of MC men trying to hide additional boat expense from their wives. It's just the way you have to do it.

The group that goes out with us rides both, so I will probably need both. Thanks for the offer though. Wakemakers is telling me to fill both front and then switch rear bags depending on which side we want to ride.

Sometimes you can get the upgrades to be their idea without them realizing it. When mine saw the new X30 interior at a boat show and we were surrounded by $100k+ boats, she thought that $3k was nothing and we should redo the interior. Victory for me. Also walked by a boat wrap guys booth and she suggested a wrap also. Guess where the boat will be tomorrow?...
