boot slick pump

The water pump that pumps the soap for my boot slick keeps dying (genuine MC)m are there any other options or am I jusing the wrong soap and its eating it up inside. I've just been using household dishwashing liquid. A friend suggested I try using a sludge pump cause it might be stronger???

Mike, i dont know how to attach pictures from my mac to this site, tried a few edit paste but nothing, sorry. I don't hear any noise when i turn on the switch. I turned on the shower pump, it works but is separate from boot slick pump.

found the pic... is there voltage at the pump? If so and you think it's being wrecked by soap - take the pump apart and look at the insides of pump.
