Anyone mounted soloshot to your tower?

I would love to have a mounted video camera on the tower that followed you behind the boat. I found this http://soloshot.com/ . Has anyone mounted this to the tower? What other options are out there?

That is a really cool and probably very expensive toy. Here are some less high tech versions to get you going back and forth across the wake. I also saw something else built into the new CC G23 tower where the rope tie off point is and it rotates with the rope. It was very clean looking. I can't remember the manufacturer though. It seems like the rep told me that CC manufactures the tower housing for the camera itself though. I believe the option is called Nautique Action Cam.

I saw that once, and meant to do some math.

Any of the rope trackers have the problem that the rope goes slack/pops/jitters.

So video often lags behind the rider, then jumps, or gives you a great view of where the rider is not, then jumps back to the rider once they land. You solve this by zooming out further.

I was reading on this system, the only problem I see is that it turns fairly slowly, they have a specification for how many degrees the unit turns per second, but with your rider edging behind the boat and changing direction, I am not certain the unit keep up with the user.

It is of course designed for mounting in a stationary position, and having the user go past one direction at a time - figured it would be slick positioned near a slalom course and mounting the tracking unit near the rear of the boat.
