jump seat struts

Anyone know of a loacally obtainable (ie: autozone or the like) strut to hold up the jump seat on an X9. Mine are tired, and I don't have immediate access to the boat to see make/model/ part no. of what's in there now.

You should be able to bring your old strut into Autozone and find one that will work. The attachment points are all the same so you are looking for one that extends the same length. Don't worry about the gas pressure. They all seem too stiff until you install it and realize that it needs the pressure to work.

I cannot help you out with the number on that particular model, but what is the year of your X9?
