I really wish Jl or wetsounds made a 6.5 component option but it looks like the wetsounds might be sound better. How could we plug the tweeter holes?

I'm adding wetsounds xs-650.to my boat.going to remove the clairion tweeter and install a perko courtesy light in its place with led bulb.so I will have 4 courtesy lights in the cockpit.not sure what to do with the bow tweeters might lust leave them to plug the holes.

Not sure if you saw this post about covering the tweeter holes.

Upgrading my speakers as well. I have a JL 13.5 W7 and i think im going to do the 6.5 JL coax and add JL tweeters. Iv seen it done before and sounds amazing. Plus im building a box so i can have both 13.5 W7's in the boat. Post some pictures up when done!

Here's a MasterCraft with twin end-to-end 13W6 bandpass enclosures that are direct radiating into the cockpit.

JL does make a coax that will sound just as good as the component. I have components in the rear and coaxial in the front (due to space) Mine are 7.7's but they make them in a 6.5"

Most people are set on Wet Sounds. I'm not a fan of wet sounds.
