Two questions: sticker for back of truck and PS197??

I'm looking for a small MasterCraft sticker in the same font as my 1984 SS for the back of my truck -- say 2 inches high and maybe 13 or so inches long? Anybody know where to get something like that? The MC dealer here in town says he can't get anything directly from MC, old font, new font or at all -- I asked the parts manager yesterday.

Also, and unrelated, I could have sworn I saw a thread on here within the last couple weeks with a stars and stripes edition 197 TT. Black, with a white stripe and black stars. Did I imagine that, or does anybody know what I'm talking about? I wanted to show my wife what I'd get if I ever got tired of the "real" S&S currently in my garage.

Take a picture of your graphic and take it to a graphic lettering place. They should be able to scan it and print a sticker that size. I had a hooded sweatshirt done this way.

Bookman Old Style, Bold, Italic, gets very close. But the picture to the sign shop will get it done.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Eastie, followed your advice on this when I ordered my registration numbers and they look great.
