Royal yes please pre-drill. Mine look great, cracked one but it was easily glued back and the crack rolled to the bottom side of the speaker so no big dea. I followed the instructions but the holes lined up so close to the inside of the ring that you literally have only 1/8 to 1/4 inch of play on the inside. That part likes to split off and cause a crack since it doesn't fall in the middle of the ring. Stressful but manageable (drilling).

Overall very pleased, they look great. Finishing install today, I will post some pictures!

I'll work with my dad on drill machine since he's an expert on it. I'll start pre-drill JL speakers since its easy to get my hands on it. Also, pre-drill would give me more options to distribute my product.

Yup, we brought a nice camera to thwart the blurry photos last time we went out at night. And now that nice camera is at the bottom of the river.

Some crappy pics. I love the music based RGB controller and ability to change to like 20 different colors, fun. Good stuff, great project for the $$$.

Awesome..Thanks for sharing Grant

After having an input from some of the board members, I'm testing drilling hole myself for JL M770 and JL sub..

So mastercraft member gets ready to install rings for their boat. (Ofcourse it'd add little cost

Update - I'll be selling pre-drill JL M770, and JL 10" sub. I'd add more speakers option in the future.

Yes, it adds little extra cost but the prices are still lower than any other vendor selling without screw hole.
