X-45 on a long journey north pulled by a Road Trek 210
My parents picked up our X-45 today from Family Powersports in Texas. Special thanks to David for getting the boat shrink wrapped and all the other extras he did along the way to help.
They are hauling it with a 2009 Road Trek 210 built on a 1 ton Chevy chassis. Reports from the road have indicated the "command center" is doing great hauling the boat. BTW my parents have lived in the Trek for 4 years. Their other home is 29 foot Four Winns that they spend the summers on in The 1000 islands/ Ottawa River. They have the means to get a larger more fancy boat/RV but really enjoy the freedom that the smaller units have. Needless to say this life style is NOT for everybody. Only 1600 more miles to go.
