de winterized the boat and the rats got me good. How do you keep rodents from your boat on outside covered storage?

Well my neighbor has like 13 cats.. I think that helps with my mouse problem, but doesn't fix the cat problem. Luckily I think they are smart enough to stay off and out of the boat.. If I catch them in my boat there will be dire consequences.

Dryer sheets are supposed to help. Put them all over, in every compartment. Worst case the boat smells good.

I usually leave some real antifreeze in a pan in the bilge. Anything that gets in my bilge should die as far as I am concerned. Just hope it dies before it does any major damage and preferably not in the boat but I will take anything dead over boat damage.

Moth balls work too I believe. I use them in the attic to keep the squirrels and roof rats out.

The dryer sheet work on mice, but I don't know of anything that will keep a determined at away.
