Brakes have come a long way for ease of replacement in both GM and Ford trucks (not sure about the rest of the guys). If you haven't previously, I would consider some better than stock brake pads......sounds like your driving requirements call for it.

well, now that I "hit it"....
I wanna add iPhone/iPod/mp3 capability to the factory 5 cd disc changer Bose head unit.
There's an AUX button on the unit, but I figure it's for an external CD changer

Some bluetooths are good, others are not. I think the sound quality is a gamble. I have an Alpine in my Suburban with Bluetooth and I'd say the quality is better than my wife's Lexus bluetooth. But mine is a little older now so don't know how the newer stuff compares.

If the head unit can accept a CD changer and has input RCA jacks, why not just plug in a cable like this?

Well, my 05 Expedition with only ~83,000 miles is giving me problems again. If I found a deal like Milk got I would "hit it" without hesitation.
