we will find out as soon as it gets warm enough, broke leg beginning of last summer so havnt had a chance to ride behind the 45 yet. Its killing me

Just about when you think they can't get any uglier, this comes along. I never thought I would discourage a fellow boat enthusiast from being on the water, but I am having second thoughts now. Look for a barn...

I like the observer seat design too. It gives you every thing you don't like about your bow-seating and puts it in the observer location. Does it seat one, two with their knees touching, or three with one person having to sit cross legged?
