Well I've got an offer in on an 01 x star for 20500

It has 420 hours has a little dock rash and has some vinyl tears. Has a massive stereo system 8 tower speakers on top of the stock sound system. They said for 1500 they would wet sand polish and wax the boat and fix all the vinyl in the boat

So basically 22000 for the boat. Converted to US tats roughly 20, 500
Plus this boat is 5 minutes from my house

Sounds like good deal to me. What tower is on it? Make sure you get all the repairs you're asking for in writing... and show us some pictures already!

The 2001 factory tower. Ya definitely will get it I. Writing because I thought. The quote for the repairs was reasonable I know vinyl work is realy expensive.

Sounds pretty cheap for wet sanding AND vinyl work. You might want to save that 1500 rather than be disappointed by shoddy work or cheap material.

I'd say 22,000 is a pretty good price for an older v-drive in Canada, especially in good condition. Its not uncommon to see similar year (or older) direct drives listed for over 20k in my area.
