"Lawless" is off the chain.
"The Unforgiven" (Clint Eastwood at his best).
"Open Range" (Not a CCostner fan but the movie is incredible).

If your order a lot off of Amazon, just go Prime. It looks to have many more titles than Netflix, and it cheaper. You also get kindle downloads and free two day shipping. it is $80/year

How is the streaming quality/picture quality? I've been on Netflix for a few years and my wife always says "they never have anything good".....

I agree with the Netflix and TV and miniseries ideas. Pulled me through a few long periods like when I was sick (or just bored). Didn't see it mentioned yet, but my all time favorite is "Band of Brothers." I can watch it multiple times without getting bored.

My recommendations:

Miniseries:
Band of Brothers
The Pacific
Lonesome Dove

Movie Series:
James Bond marathon
Lord of the Rings trilogy

Breaking Bad
Lost
24
Walking Dead
Game of Thrones
