Anyone try or have trailer fender storage covers??

I'm thinking of buying a set of these and wondering if anyone has them or is thinking of getting them? I leave my trailer at my buddies year round and usually keep it in one of those Costco type garages. Unfortunately, I've lost 2 of them to snow loads over the passed 3 years. This seems like a good alternative.

Don't think those will help with snow load, but they look like they would help keep tree sap, etc. off the fenders, as well as oxidizing and sun damage to the tires. Sounds a little pricey, though.

I'm not that worried with snow as we live in Seattle and don't get that much. My big thought was if these are worth $335 compared at $30 for a blue tarp and some bungees? I need something to protect the fenders from the sun and oxidizing.

Seems a bit pricey but I can see the advantage of using them.
How about some white shrink wrap for summer storage? You could always use tape or bungees to hold them on if you use the boat every week.

I like them because their fit to the fender and I could take them with me when our family takes the boat to different lakes for our annual summer vacation. The trailer only gets used 3-4x per year starting in the spring. Normally, it sits on our boat lift year round.

I would think that a company that makes boat covers could whip a couple of these together for less.

Will definitely make the tires last longer.

I bet if you bought a tarp and cut them to fit you could have th sewn for a very reasonable proce

Probably going to want something to line the fender covers to avoid any chafing or scratching from wind.
