First Mastercraft - Love it! few Q's...Thx!

I'm in love with my 2012 X-55. Its a much more lovely boat then my previous Malibu.

I have a few Q's & hoping the community may be of help:

1- Having issues controlling the ipod via v-dig/clarion. I can get audio via headphone jack but both USB jacks do not operate the ipod. Clarion reads "reading media" and then reverts to tuner and stops charging the unit.

2- I am unable to flip through preset stations via v-dig. Manual says to use up & down buttons but those simply revert to a random, non-programed station. Left & right arrows let me tune but very difficult to go through 100+ sat stations.

3- Do the X-55's have a t-handle mid-ship plug or only off the rear? I popped up the main floorboard and viewed the front ballast tank but couldn't find the typical t-handle plug.

4- What is the standard size for the igloo cooler? My boat did not come with one.

I can offer maybe a little help:
1. What model Ipod is it? I have an older Nano that won't work at all. My wife's Ipod Touch works, but only in the USB port in the glove box. Not sure why, but the one by the driver seat won't work.

3. It should have a mid-ship plug. My X-2 has one, so the X-55 should have one as well. Don't know where else to tell you where to look. Can you crawl underneath the boat and look for the drain hole to locate it?

Try pulling up the carpet and un screw the circle right behind the ballast tank. It should be right there.

Congrats on the new boat.

1. The software for the control systems (dig/BIG touch screen) _must_ be updated first. You'll need your dealer to do that for you. There are several improvements that might address your concerns. Here is an old video on the screens that also might help.. http://vimeo.com/32852339

3. The igloo cooler , I couldn't find the spec, I believe it is a 34 or 36 Litre cooler. Good pic of one here.

As far as I remember (only used my IPhone once when my USB stick was broken) the Clarion/BIG controls will only let you choose the first six playlists on the IPOD/IPHONE and their tracks, a USB thumbdrive is somewhat more comfortable. But I'm not sure right now and my boat is 150mls away
Oh and the USB on the starbord side by the throttle lever is only connected to the BIG for up/downloading rider settings and firmware updates, the one on the left (glovebox in my X-15) is directly connected to the Clarion head unit, and thus to be used for music, USB and I-devices.
