Mooring cover

P.O. didn't do much in keeping the mooring cover clean. Now it's up to me. Does any one feel that a power washer with clear water (no soap) will do the trick? I want to avoid using soap to maintain the water repellent characteristics in place as much as possible. I would think that laying it out on a concrete driveway, so it has some backing, would be fine using a wider spray nozzle.

What kind of cover do you have? Is it factory? if so I would
Take the cover to a laundry mat and use one of the large capacity front loader machines use a little oxy clean and wash, then place in large capacity dryer ,tumble dry (No or Low Heat) Then take it home hang outside out in the sun. It will make your cover look and perform like new!

I see you're in Milwaukee; we are almost neighbors, I'm in the Falls, right across from the Harley plant behind the sound barrier. We have a summer place on the Three Lakes Chain just south of Eagle River where we spend the summers. I can't ski anymore due to arm problems, but my kids and grand kids come up to ski. Where in Milwaukee are you?

I live in New Berlin, not to far from you. I spend plenty of time up in Eagle River so I drive by Three Lakes all the time. I would always stop at the Shell station at Three Lakes for fuel. Which lake are you on?

The laundry mat I use is located in West Allis, Hwy 100 and Lincoln Ave. ( South-West Corner of intersection) near International Auto
