Great story, our daughter will be 4 in March and asks almost daily if we can go in the boat. I always feel extremely lucky and a little sad at the same time when a dad tells me his kids aren't interested in the boat or water.

Another sign our daughter was raised right. We were both in the house, but different rooms when the new fireboat when by. Just after I finished taking pictures (bad phone pics), she opened the door and came into the room to tell me about the "really cool big boat" that went by. It is an awsome boat.

Thanks for sharing. It's great when kids fall in love with the water and waterspouts hopefully it will keep them from getting into trouble somewhere down the road.

I know the feeling. If I am going out to do something in or on the boat my kids want to go with me to (help) with what I am doing. I am glad that they have that opportunity. My 3 1/2 year old now knows what the sticker on the back of my truck says and whenever he sees another boat name he say "they don't have a Mastercraft daddy". Kids say the darndest things.
