Adding LED Spotlights

Our current boat has spotlights at the front of the tower speakers which we find useful pulling onto our lift at night. Our new boat (recent X25) does not have spotlights. Was thinking of adding two of these LED spotlights:

Anyone have experience with these lights? Do they work well? Did you hang them downward or above tower?

I say go for it. I cannot vouch for quality but it seems way more cost effective than the speaker cans with built in lights. The factory lights on my old ZTF2 tower are mounted on top.

Merely for docking you may want to go with the flood version of the duallys as it will give you more spread. Personally I went all out and put a 30" Rigid m-series combo flood/spot on my tower facing frontwards and just ordered a 20" flood to point backwards.
