99 205DD Drivers seat
I've been thinking about replacing the drivers seat in my 205 with something better. The rest of the interior will be getting new vinyl very soon but since i've never liked the factory drivers seat i thought rather than new vinyl maybe i should just replace it. Has anyone else done this or have any ideas for a good quality drivers seat that wont cost too much?

Looks like its just the 2 of us. I`ve been thinking that maybe i should try just raising the seat up somehow, that should help part of the problem.

I agree - I feel like I'm driving a low rider in her boat - I have to put a throw under my butt... It's just not as nice of a seat as my 93 205.

I don't have any suggestions, but agree the 99 interior was a bit odd. My old ski bud has a 99 205 and I have a 00 205. I like the 00 interior much better.

My '99 205V driver's seat sits low, too. I'm 6'3", and I still have to come up out of the seat on hole shots to see above the bow. What a pain. Once it gets on plane it's fine. I just wish it had a bolster. I'm thinking about making a seat cushion to use, but that's one more thing floating around the boat that I'd rather not have to deal with.

To me it seems that the only solution is to find a comfortable aftermarket seat or a used seat from a different year model MC...
