97 maristar 200 ballast arrangement
So I will have 2x540s and 2x375s....we usually have 4-6 people on board so I'm thinking about putting the 375s in rear lockers and the 540s in a "T" on ski locker and across bow. Any thoughts? Searched last night but didn't find a thread specifically for my boat. And what if any other MCs was this hull used for? TIA

I think the general rule is 60/40. 60 in the back and 40 in the front. That being the case, put the 540s in the back and one 375 in the ski locker. The rest of the needed weight can be made up with passengers. You could also just play around with the placement of the 4th bag and see what works best for you. It also depends on what it is that you want to do. Wakeboard or surf?

Every boat is different, and you will probably have to try some different configurations, but like CC2MC said, the 60/40 rule is the best place to start for any boat. Put the 540s in the back, one 375 in the walkway/ski locker, and the other 375 in the bow. That is 1080 in the stern, 750 in the bow. Pretty damn close to 60/40.
