Stereo upgrade on X45 (Awesome Sound)

I just completed an upgrade to my 2008 x45.. There has been a lot of talk on here about the difficulty in upgrading the SUB but maintaining Factory appearance, I figured a very simple solution to gain very impressive SUB as well as utilizing the great system the comes from the factory but putting it on Steroids!!!!! and really giving it an awesome sound without breaking the Bank. Below is what I did as well a few pics...

Stereo: Stock Clarion CMD5
EQ (zone controller) Exile MK11
Amp 1: Exile Audio 30.2 (powering 4 factory JL 770 tower speakers
Amp 2: Exile Javelin 5 channel + SUB (powering 4 JL 770 cabin speakers and SUB
SUB: JL 10w3v3D4 Sub in Sealed enclosure (covered with FLEX SEAL fro Waterproofing)
Rockford Fosgate "punch" 10" Sub trim ring and Screen to cover factory hole (painted with White Epoxy) to allow sufficient air for the new sub.

This system is not the King of the Lake but it really sounds Awesome and still looks factory and definately will still turn some heads...

Any questions please feel free to let me know, I did all this myself and would be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks

Awesome job! I have the same amps, also installed upside down to make it easy. Where did you get the grille?

From an audio shop that carries Rockford Fosgate,, It's off the 10" PUNCH SUB which covers the factory hole nicely,,, and the shop was kind enough to sell me just the trim ring and grill and then I painted it with White Epoxy.

Did the punch ring and grill require you to drill new holes. I would love to do that and not drill more holes.. That way I could replace the IB sub if I sold the boat.. Is there any way to pop the ring and grill off of the JL sub and use it? I know that wounds be a good option for the sport grill but it would work well with the classic grill.

I like that. Looks clean but still allows bass to radiate through the boat the way God intended. Great idea!

UMMMMMM....?
not to sound Like Aric...but why didn't you just put the the JL 10 where it goes in the factory position?
1/4 the time and Effort ...

Think before I post ..."Do I need to say this? Or should I just let someone else complain "
