On my trailer (a '99) there is an aluminum MasterCraft Trailer Serial Number plate that is riveted to the frame a couple of inches in front of the jack mount. The first line contains the year and boat model. On my trailer it shows: SA-99-PS 205 I don't know what the SA stands for, but I can figure out the rest. The second line is the MasterCraft serial number for the trailer. The decal with the VIN is just a few inches ahead of the plate.
Get a photo of that plate and you should have your answer.

I assumed SA was for single axle.

Sent the guy a request for the info on the silver plate but hasn't responded. I'm looking for a 209 trailer.
