2013 x30 - any feedback on how it drives / handles?

We are considering a new 2013 x30. Planning to go test drive one in a few weeks. Wanted to get some feedback on how the new ones drive and handle vs prior years.

We currently have an '08 x30 and it handles pretty well, but at the boat show we heard lots about how the new ones are night and day different.

Would love some feedback before getting on the water to know more what to expect.

If you like your '08 X30, you will LOVE the 2013 X30. I owned and thoroughly enjoyed my '07 X30. I then upsized to the X45 in 2012. My X45 did not have hydraulic steering, and it was very difficult to turn, especially when turning under power. I was debating purchasing a new boat vs adding hydraulic steering to the X45, and ultimately ordered a 2013 X30. It handles and turns effortlessly. It feels very light on the water and smooth. The exact opposite of the X45. My '07 X30 was more nimble than the X45, but it was still in that "heavy tank-like" feeling category. Like I said, I loved both boats, but the 2013 handles significantly better. The surf wake is better and easier to dial in on the 2013. The wake boarding wake is a bit more mellow than the steeper 07 X30 and '12 X45 wakes, but I really like it. I just had 700# bags plumbed into the rear lockers, so I am anxious to see what this does to the wake boarding wake.

Handles and drives very well, and has a fairly good rough water ride.
