What hull/boat would you purchase

We are family boaters, do some kneeboarding, skiing, wakeboard and pull the tube around. I would also like to learn to surf and get the kids trying it also.

My first thread was on a used X30 but after reading a bunch of threads it seems that might not be the best or surfing.

So what hull/boat would you purchase for my case

I woud like to stay in the 22 - 24' range to help in chop and have rooom

You won't find a better all-around boat. There are better options if you are focusing on a single sport, but otherwise, the 30 had the best hull...

But for something in the 50-60k, I've also heard good things about the X15's

you'll be hard pressed to get any of the "newer" hulls for that price range in the MC line. surfing wasn't really "in" when the OG X star - 10 - 30 were around. having said that, lots of folks surf their "older" hulls. here is a pic of our wave (02 X30). 750 rear, stock center and me 220# in the corner. there are some folks on here with more weight in this hull (particularly up front) that make a better wave.

the "curb feeler" on the front of the board is just the nose cone glue coming off.

I pull with a F150, currently have a 225 crownline

that boat you posted must be a new ad, I have looked daily on that site. I have never seen a galvanized trailer

the graphics are also different than ones I have seen
