Speaker Cans

I wasn't sure whether to post this in appearance, towers, or audio, but here we go. I am going to be doing new tower speakers this season. Currently have the 2 stock clarions in stock aluminum cans with white grills. Sounds decent, but I need something new. Thinking about 6500.2 HLCDs. Of course that means I need 2 more cans. Instead of getting factory cans, I'm thinking about going with 2 double pods. I really like the look of the black cans, but my tower's silver. Any opinions?

Black and silver/chrome - almost every vehicle has this; looks great.

Keep the old cans and put another pair of Kicker mid bass in those.
Some may find the extra efficiency of HLCD overpowering without more midbass.
Key is to have sufficient amp headroom.

I use the aerial double cans. They don't have pricing online for just cans without speakers but if you call them they used to cut deals on just cans. If you are just looking for something basic these work well.
