X45 Prop Questions

I have ordered the the following from Wakemakers

1. 2X750lbs bags for rear compartments
2. 2X300lbs for for compartments
3. 4X Green impeller replacement
4. Installation kit to plumb the bags into the factory hard tanks and use the factory pumps.

My question is should I replace the prop with the plus +1 option OJ TZX5. We will be 30% wake boarding, 20% wake surfing and 50% cruising. I don't want to sacrifice too much top end or efficiency.

The boat has a 6.0L vortec. And we boat pretty much at sea level in Canada.

The 5 blade will work very well for your wakeboarding and surfing needs but it's the 50% cruising that will be a concern. It will not be as good for cruising and it will disappoint you if you don't want to sacrifice top end. I lost over 5 MPH top end with the 5 blade. I would recommend the OJ 14.75x15.5 for the best overall performance and what you are looking to do. Or look into one of the ACME props as well.

That's the prop I went with as well. Has been a nice improvement over the factory prop.
