Midwest Winter Help

So, as a new MC owner, I have a question.

How do the rest of you in the Upper Midwest get through the Winter?

When I had a Sea Ray Bowrider in storage, I didn't stress about the Winter. In fact, my mantra was, "I'll get the boat out of storage sometime between tax day and May 1st and we'll be on the lakes again by mid-June."

Now, it's early February. My "new" 2004 X-10 is in storage and I find myself saddled with anxiety every time I see snow and freezing rain and slush and arctic winds in the friendly, evening forecast.

How does anyone expect a MC owner to make it through the upper Midwest Winter? After all, I just dream of the chance to pull the boat out of storage, hook up the Battery Tender, clean it and launch it in the local lakes.

That may not happen until June, the way things are going.

Again - - - Sea Ray - - > no problem.

MasterCraft - - - > huge problem.

How do you make it through the Midwest Winter?

Lake Louie makes some great beers, the Badgers are winning some big games. I don't see the problem. It doesn't hurt to get to Cascade or Devil's Head. Also, my daughter currently has basketball volleyball indoor soccer futsal (indoor soccer variation) and music lessons. Don't know how I'd find time to ski til her activities settle down a bit. It'll be March and we'll be on Monona soon enough.

College Basketball, lots and lots of beer, some snow skiing, a little bit of boredom, and anticipation. It hasn't been easy.

Beer, ice fishing, beer, snow skiing, beer, snowmobiling, beer, hockey, and a perhaps a little more beer. I think that's pretty much the gist of it.....
