Surface on Slalom Ski

So these raised, glue type areas have appeared on the bottom of my ski. I know there are some scratches and dings along the edges, but the "raised" glue things are in the middle. I don't know where they came from. Looks like something maybe from heat, but it is always stored in the same place on my boat and I have never seen this. It is also stored on a rack in the garage... same place every time we come off the water.

Any suggestions... or solutions? Can a ski be resurfaced or is it better to just get a new one?

I might say if you do not notice a difference in performance, keep using it.

I doubt any warranty would be in effect as it looks like wear and tear.

In that case, the hull is very ugly. You should improve it.

de-laminating or coating failure - which ski is that... ski it till it fails and then buy new... IMO

I would contact Connelly - you never know - they may help - especially if there's no damage to ski.
