a friend asked if I wanted to go to the gun show this past weekend down in Austin. I already had other plans, so couldn't go. I saw his wife at church Sunday morning asking if he ended up going, to which she said yeah, he went but didn't get in as there was a 3 hour wait to get in and all the parking was full. That's just crazy!

With the current climate, unless you can't get what you are looking for at a sporting goods store, there are no deals to be had a gun shows right now from what I have been told. You can get ammo at stores cheaper than what they are selling it for at gun shows.

Gun show gun prices may even be higher. A friend (new to guns) went to our last show and said it was a 45 minute wait to get in (not bad considering). Once inside, he said it was PACKED. He couldn't move through the aisles from table to table because of so many people. He told me about some of the prices and they were NOT deals.
And yes, ammo was higher... even if buying 1000 rounds. However, everything was flying off the store shelves.

I went to a show the 1st time Obame was elected and it was bad then. After this election and other recent events, I knew it would be a mad house. Glad I didn't go.

This is a good link to find your Senator or Reps. Let them know we will NOT accept limitations on the Second Amendment.
