The GM is known for breaking tie rod ends.

Yeah the duramax is rough on steering parts.. But there are fixes for that

Yeah there are. Either way you look at it, a tug o war is pretty dang stupid. The weak link on a Dmax is the independent suspension but its also a big selling point. Its a give and take. 95% of the time the independent suspension is going to do just fine.

Agreed, I love the ride of the independent but hate that upkeep on it. My last d max was lifted, it was always wearing parts out but that's expected.

TayMC197, Your truck might have the locker. I just saw a picture of it on the Tow Rig thread. It looks like the latest generation.

If it's on the Internet, it MUST be true. How do I know? I read it on the Internet.
For a split second you can see that the front tires are rolling backward as the rear tires are spinning. The truck was not in 4WD IMO.
