Replacing Heater Craft Heater

The core in mine has gone. Found a replacement for $100. but also found this whole heater for not much more. Any reason I couldn't use this unit?

I replaced mine for 40.00 at NAPA. Remove the core from the case, take it to NAPA and get a match. Easy job.

I got a new core from NAPA as well. Mine was an older model heater craft and they didn't make the right size core any more. Once I had a radiator shop repair one. Hard to find a shop to do that work anymore. Had to remove some pop rivets to get it in. Seems to work great. I'll look for the part number.
